I've been editing the source code of LilyPad to try to enable a 3rd and 4th "Port", but I have not had any luck. I think that more games, such as Crash Tag Team Racing, could become playable if this type of hack were included. Guitar Hero 2 has some sort of additional check to prevent the use of 3rd party guitars. Note that you must start the game with the checkbox selected. Supports playing with multiple joysticks simultaneously. 100% of all player 3 and 4's features fully work. To make a pad work as a guitar in Guitar Hero or Rock Band, select the Guitar from the dropdown for that pad and rebind the controls. So Im starting to set controls for my emulators but starting to run into some issues with some.

The only flaw is that all 4 players have to be controlled by controller port #1 or #2. I know this sounds stupid, but I actually hacked the Spy Vs Spy game to fully support 4-player mode on the PCSX2 emulator.
Lilypad pcsx2 not working ps2#
The reason why, is because many games like Spy Vs Spy were programmed to support 4 controllers on Xbox or Gamecube, but only support 2-player mode on PS2 because the developers never implemented multitap support. I would like you to put in ports #3 and #4, even though they didn't exist on the console. If all the above methods can't help you solve the PCSX2 controller not working issue, you can try using other versions of the plugin (older or newer) or changing the controller plugin directly. Also in the General Tab when configuring Lilypad Plugin Settings, beside Pad 1, Dualshock 2 Your Controller you should have 25. PCSX2 has many plugins for controller, such as LilyPad, Xpad, MegaPad, etc. Though I'm using Lilypad svn (r4510) 0.10.0 with a keyboard because the GS Plugin, GSdx 4600 (MSVC 15.00, SE22) 0.1.16, won't work with Megapad 2.0.0. But if your controller is an Xbox controller, you should use the XInput mode instead of the DInput mode. The 'Analog Stick button press' your talking about is R3 & 元. Please go to Config > Controllers > Plugin Settings > General > Game Device APIs, uncheck XInput and see if you can configure your gamepad with DirectInput mode. Do you hate it when youre in a game, and your character jumps. To fix PCSX2 controller not working issue, you can try changing the game device API mode. Normally PlayStation 2 has controller ports #1 and #2, then it has slots 1-4 for a multitap. Pbuser/ October 2, 2012/ Pcsx2 lilypad not working/ comments. Definitely look into something else mate. This is going to sound weird, but stay with me for a second. However, did I read correctly that you have a G920? Wait.isn't that the Xbox One version of the wheel? Hmm, if so I've heard about several people having issues with that wheel performing correctly in Windows. The force feedback is absurdly good! Qemu doesn't care what kind of wheel you have, it uses DirectInput which means any wheel will work. Just click on the configure menu but make sure you set your options to "Wheel" and the type to either Driving Force Pro(preferable) or Driving Force. The Qemu already has options to map any button and steering/pedal axis to whatever you want. Qemu has nothing to do with the LilyPad plugin.

Stick to games that have "in-game" USB wheel support like GT3 and 4, Battle Gear, Enthusia, OutRunSP and so on. Alternatively, and to be on the safe side, you can simply keep LilyPad as the selected plugin, then go into the LilyPad config menu and eliminate all Playstation 2 gamepad button or axis mappings to all of your devices, leaving everything blank. The LilyPad interface used to map your controller or keyboard to the virtual PS2 pads is not well documented and confusingly laid out. Infact, don't even bother playing racing games that don't have native support for Logitech steering wheels, because they're not worth playing. Once again though, LilyPad does not interfere with QEMU2. In the general tab select your gamepad from the list in the lower left, ensure Xinput (for box controllers) is checked in the section titled 'game. In the main PCSX2 window (not the console/debug window) click Config and select Controllers (PAD) - Plugin Settings, a new window will open. What SegaOutrun said is 100% correct, coach! Open PCSX2 (run it as admin or your game won't launch).
